Brochure 2023/2024
Another year and another wonderful Humphrey Butler brochure.
It has been a great year for us and this year’s brochure is our largest ever, filled to brim with wonderful things, both subtle and spectacular.
The Triumph of the Tiara
In honour of the coronation and our wonderful late 19th century diamond tiara, some thoughts on the history of the tiara and tips on how to wear them.
Butler in Bahrain
In an exciting new venture instigated by Jake Warren of Highclere Racing and designed to showcase our brand in a part of the world entirely new to us, Humphrey Butler Ltd have agreed to sponsor a race in Bahrain both in 2022 and 2023. This meant a maiden visit to the Kingdom for Humphrey in between Christmas and the New Year.
A Royal Bracelet Rediscovered
Following detailed research and negotiation with the Victoria and Albert Museum, an important sapphire and diamond bracelet, purchased by us in 2019 and formerly in the collection of Queen Victoria, has been secured on loan for display in the William and Judith Bollinger Gallery.
Happy Christmas
Necessity being the mother of invention, the last few months have seen a slightly uncharacteristic burst of innovation here at Humphrey Butler.
Happy New Year
A very Happy New Year from all of us! After a gratifyingly positive response to our newest brochure and a busy Christmas, we have had an equally action-packed start to 2020.
Brochure 2019/20
The digital version of our annual brochure is available to view here. If you would like us to send you a hard copy, please feel free to get in touch!
Henry Daly Racing
HB Ltd are delighted to announce a new affiliation in the world of National Hunt racing.
GemGenève
The beginning of May saw our second trip to the shores of Lac Léman for GemGenève, a very new date in the international jewellery calendar, but one that has already asserted itself as an essential fixture.
The Miami Beach Antique Show 2019
As ever, the New Year finds us packing our shorts and sunglasses and heading for Florida for the annual Miami Beach Antique Jewellery Show.
Rapper at Ludlow
It is with huge pride that we can report the first victory for our equine standard bearer Rapper on 17th January.
Brochure 2018/19
Another year! Our 2018 brochure has finally arrived. Once again, we’re very proud of this year’s stock and there should be something for all tastes (and budgets…).
Rapper
Seen here in his immensely chic black and gold Humphrey Butler livery is our newest cheerleader, the four year old National Hunt horse 'Rapper'.
Spring at Humphrey Butler
May traditionally finds us packing our loupes and heading for the shores of Lake Geneva for the Spring jewellery auctions, but this year we were delighted to take part in the first ever Gem Genève gem and jewellery show as well.
Happy New Year
Happy New Year! We would like to thank everyone for the overwhelmingly positive response to our latest brochure, which you can see here, and which rounds off an exciting 2017 for us. It has been a year of changes, the most significant of which has been the departure of Imogen Orr who has taken off to Florence to pursue her passion for painting.
A stately car boot sale
Humphrey Butler Ltd is excited to announce we will be sponsoring the renowned Stately Car Boot Sale at Sennowe Park, which takes place in just one month today in aid of the Norfolk Churches Trust.
Antique pearl and diamond Tiara
One of the most impressive pieces we have come across in the last year is this natural pearl and diamond tiara. It came to us through a European family who had been disappointed by auction house estimates both here and on the continent and we were more than happy to give it a new home.
2016/17 Brochure
Our 2016-17 Brochure has landed - just in time for Christmas. A PDF version is available to view online here, but if you would prefer a hard copy do just let us know and we’ll send one out to you right away.
Fur & Claw Launch
By far the most exciting news to come from Humphrey Butler HQ this year is the arrival of FUR & CLAW - Our brand new collection of contemporary jewels, produced in collaboration with the magnificent Bear Brooksbank.
