Happy New Year

A very Happy New Year from all of us! After a gratifyingly positive response to our newest brochure and a busy Christmas, we have had an equally action-packed start to 2020.

First on our list was our annual trip to the Original Miami Beach Antique Show, this year’s moved forward in order to accommodate something called the Super Bowl (?), leaving the international jewellery trade touching down in MIA with many a New Year hangover still intact. Nonetheless, we had a great show, sifting through the mass of the world’s antique jewellery and picking up some very exciting new finds to bring back to London, not least this fabulous Art Deco emerald and diamond bracelet. Next up was a quick hop over to Paris for Lily and Bobby to view the newly re-opened Apollo Gallery, home of the remaining French Crown Jewels and the new resting place of our client’s ruby and diamond brooch - a sale negotiated by us earlier in the year and the third piece in this small collection to have passed through Humphrey Butler’s doors.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Humphrey Butler Limited and we are looking forward to another exiting year. We wish you all a happy and prosperous 2020 and look forward to seeing you in Pall Mall soon.
